You acknowledge that International Blue Light Home Swap inserts listings on the web site. in accordance with the information provided by its members and relies on the honesty of its members.  International Blue Light Home Swap will make every effort to seek verification that each member is or has been (with respect to an honourable discharge only) an employee of an emergency service. If verification is not received, membership may be suspended and/or terminated by International Blue Light Home Swap in its sole discretion. International Blue Light Home Swap reserves the right in its sole discretion to remove any information posted in respect of a member at any time. International Blue Light Home Swap does not guarantee: the existence or location of any property; that members will find an exchange partner; the details of the listing; or the actions of its members.All agreements for home swaps are between individual members. International Blue Light Home Swap shall not be responsible for any agreements made between members to exchange homes despite its efforts to assist on aspects of home exchange. All information given by a member and displayed on this web site. in respect of their home should be verified directly between members prior to swapping homes to avoid misunderstandings or disappointments. Any legal concerns should be directed through an appropriate legal adviser and are the sole responsibility of the relevant members.All information displayed on the web site. is for the exclusive use of International Blue Light Home Swap’s members and visitors and for the sole purpose of considering or organising a home exchange with International Blue Light Home Swap.  Contact information is only available to members and is not in the public domain.  The collecting or storage of any information by any person is prohibited. 

International Blue Light Home Swap confirms that it shall only use the information provided by members for the purpose of providing the services and for marketing purposes. You confirm that the information you provide to International Blue Light Home Swap may be used for these purposes and acknowledge that your information will be available and disclosed to other members. Whilst International Blue Light Home Swap shall use all endeavours to seek to prevent unauthorised use of your information, it cannot guarantee such misuse. Any members who misuse information will immediately have their membership terminated.

Intellectual Property
International Blue Light Home Swap owns the intellectual property in the content of this web site. You confirm that you shall not copy, resell, replicate or distribute the information fully or partially in any format to third parties. You consent to International Blue Light Home Swap’s use of the information provided by you to include (but not limited to) any photographs or text provided by you.

Subscription Fee
Members shall pay the 12-month subscription fee specified on the application form when applying to become a member or prior to the membership being activated (whichever is the later). Payments may be made in the method detailed on the application form in Pounds Sterling, United States Dollars or Canadian Dollars. International Blue Light Home Swap will only publish members’ details on the web site. once payment of the subscription is received in cleared funds and International Blue Light Home Swap is satisfied as to the validity of any application for membership. Prior to the expiration of any 12-month subscription, International Blue Light Home Swap will contact the member with details of the subscription price prevailing at that time for a further 12-month’s membership. Members may continue their subscription by paying the relevant fee or terminate their subscription at that time by notifying International Blue Light Home Swap in writing. International Blue Light Home Swap reserves the right to suspend and/or terminate the membership of any member whose subscription fee is not paid.

Conduct of Members
To the best of their knowledge members must not: give incorrect information at any time to International Blue Light Home Swap or any of its members; use the web site. to breach any law; transfer files to the web site. that contain a threat to it in any way (such as viruses or corrupted files); or take any action that may leave International Blue Light Home Swap liable for any civil or criminal punishment.

Termination Rights of International Blue Light Home Swap
International Blue Light Home Swap reserves the right to terminate a membership without notice and without refund if: a member is deemed by International Blue Light Home Swap to have purposefully misled International Blue Light Home Swap and/or its members; a members’ conduct is deemed by International Blue Light Home Swap to be in contravention of any law or these Terms and Conditions.

Termination Rights of Member
Members may terminate their membership in writing at any time by using any contact method supplied.  A refund will not normally be given.
